Italophil's GAK and Rebar look like they could sort out most things! A no BS combo if ever there was one.

-18 Celsius here in Eastern Canada, but Spring is close, so the Outrider and it's scissors will be tying flies with me

Greg, we're expecting 4" of snow tonight, more later on. Spring looking like a distant dream right now. I must say, your tying bench looks great, and about a thousand times more organized than mine. You and Alan are killin' me with those scissors.......

What are we tying flies for?

Thanks Nix, the picture just makes it look all fancy, but it is organized I hate moving one thing to get to another, I'm tying mostly for Smallmouth Bass and Striped Bass with the occasional Brook trout. As for the scissors, it's my first Sak with them, and there's no going back now even if I only pick up a Classic to compliment what I'm carrying :climber:

Day 03:

Working on a sewing project today. I was missing my Vic scissors. The knife is sharp, but not as nimble for little things like this. So, kitchen scissors made a guest appearance.....

Day 03 (continued):

Pizza night here at the Nix homestead. Dough has been fermenting in the fridge for the past 48 hours. Used the OHT to peel and trim some garlic, then open a small can of tomato sauce.

Mushroom pizza:

Mushrooms got sauteed with the garlic and then put on top of the sauce. All topped with some shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Good stuff, and Mrs Nix was happy, so I'm happy, too.

Day 4 -- Fireman

No snow here, but it´s cold. Temperatures will be below freezing for the next ten days, but no rain or snow expected.

I carried the Fireman in my previous (failed) attempt at a 111mm badge, and for good reason. It´s got both plain and serrated edge blades, and a woodsaw, and unlike the Hunter XT, it has an awl and a full set of openers as well! Likely it will be my primary carry this month.
