Double Lockbacks
on: August 30, 2018, 01:24:59 AM
I have seen a few of these around, but a google search has not yielded much. What are some good double lock back (traditional style) knives? Which one do you carry? Post pics if you got ‘em!

Got to remember where I put the thing again, but I have a Camillus 902B, which was made cosmetically prettier in the Cartridge line with Delrin scales and nickel silver bolsters. Mine's the standard Promaster version with rubber scales.  Only photo I have of it is from a Kindle Fire HD8, and it is horrible, even by my humble standards for a camera. I did a video for a speech class with it the other day, and it looked worse than some of the old clips done with 1990s camcorders on America's Funniest Home Videos.  And the photos I've took were all blurry.

Here a a couple from my accumulation:
First is a Browning USA double side by side lockback which to me is difficult to operate.
Next is a pair of so called Texas Longhorns;the top one by Olsen Knife Co. of Howard City Michigan but made in Japan. The bottom one is a Parker Cutlery Co. model.

I got a Smith&Wesson Workhorse and a Colt Double Lockback. No pics of the S&W, I'll try to find some online.

Here's the S&W. A bit tactical, but a great knife.
