Actually tried the corkscrew on a sneaker lace knot, worked really well.  All these years using my teeth.

Day 17:

Mostly quiet day today.

We did received a package of tea from our favorite dealer in Canada. Tea, nothing more,  :D

And when faced with a tricky can of local suds to open, the cap lifter was pressed into service.

Just used the scissors, on the probiotic.

And a couple emergency vehicles for Austria, Siku Sprinter from the early 2000s and a recent Majorette MAN aerial platform. Siku does have a country-specific line for Switzerland, but it's hard to get, only being sold in Switzerland. Everyone that does ship to the USA is a reseller, and wants 4X what they sell for in Switzerland (it's like 11 EUR in Switzerland for the 3-pack)  Majorette, I don't think has a Switzerland SOS set (they might use Austria's), but they have far more countries represented than Siku in their country-specific "SOS Theme Sets".

Day 18.

Cut down cartboard boxes. Next duty is to hang up the birdfeeder and attach the branch I took with me yesterday. Huntsman and zipties for the win.

Might be worth a ziptie badge request?

Cold and misty outside, maybe we will go for a walk in the woods in the afternoon, depending on daughters mood and feelings. Still ill and niggling.

Last time we had a plastic bird feeder, found it in pieces.... seems our squirrel took flying leaps at it.

Parade duty today, probably use screwdriver and scizzors mostly.

Great pics everyone. Good to see what a Huntsman can get up to. Opened a pack of notebooks today but lazy day otherwise so a bit more posing with slate

The red plastic head of the pin looks good on the blue Huntsman. Did you do that on purpose?

Day 18 :

Fussing around today. Did work on a fun sewing project, though. Huntsman's scissors came in handy....again. The scissors are easily the most used tool for me at this point in the challenge.  :tu:
