This is a veterinary tool. In french it's called a "flamme à saigner". It was used to perform a "bleeding" procedure.

I think I've seen a Victorinox before. They also used to make hoof knives.

In Dutch it´s called vlijm. Few people know, but we still have the word vlijmscherp (sharp as a fleam). I have seen pictures of multiblade fleams.

This fleam looks to me like the model 255 that appears in page 53 of the Victorinox 1942 catalog. The stamp on it appears in Ulli's table, where it is assigned the range 1931-1942. I thus tend to believe that this fleam is from around this range of years.

Thanks, I found the same date stamp on Ulli's chart. Somehow I would have thought earlier.
