Day 20:

Helping out with some TLC of an older Helle I recently got from my dad It has been badly ground on a benchgrinder so the edge is not pretty, but it shaves now so all is good And had to sand down the back of the blade as someone has beaten it with a hammer or something sometime (Image removed from quote.)

Still recovering from my bout of food poisoning and the heat outside is keeping me in, but the wife had to have her new Hoover machine put together.  Geppetto got to open the box...
No rest for the weary...at least it is an inside job and not outside!  :tu:

Top rifle is a Sharps and the bottom one is a Remington rolling block. The cartridge is a original 44-77. This is the cartridge that inspired the shield on the Buffalo Jack.

Day 13 for me

Got a new work light today. The folder helped free it.

Really like those LED lights, they are not getting hot at all.  :tu:

Day 20. Gee, it's been that long already?

The 2016 is going to need a touch up (I can't believe I used it THAT much, but I did); so I switched to the 1974-1980. It was my great-uncle's, and obviously used a lot by him. I moslty just carry it to family functions; it has been retired in favor of the 2016 standard and the Shield though is still put on my belt every now and then.  Opened up some ink; my printer ran out while printing the air conditioner's installation manual (which still doesn't have what I need in it, but better than nothing at all).
