Today I'm guessing "Antonio Carluccio".

As per his own words...
" I whittle sticks. I started when I was very young by carving my initials, and now I have a big collection, many with elaborate designs that I have come up with. I may spend a few hours each day whittling. I get the wood from all over the place, often from the New Forest, where I pick mushrooms. I use them as walking sticks and, the other way round, to pin down a snake or turn a leaf."

Most importantly though he was called "the godfather of Italian gastronomy" and wrote a couple of cookery books based around Italian cuisine  :drool:
