Or maybe they can sell that cute reamer on its own?
I'm guessing that's not a Rebar awl, correct?
Rebar awl wouldn't fit without grinding, so probably it isn't one of those. Ask me how I know
That is pretty cool. I just hope they've had sufficient training in their use.
I put the Rebar awl on place of the can opener. Just like that oneIt fits perfectly. (Image removed from quote.)
I'll have to check that sometime. I was going from my ReWaveR build where I put it in place of the bit driver and that has a Rebar pliers head... space required must be different. Thanks! From the pic the police wave + awl seems different somehow from the Rebar one, more curved and shorter, but that may be down to perspective.
Oh, this was well before there was even talk about the "+" versions of Wave and Charge. The ReWaveR no longer has the plier rest tabs in the handles, those were taking up valuable space and so were among the first to go . Glad it worked out for you - the "+" pliers head has the same outer contour as the original one and is much more compact than the Rebar head.
Well if the head l lost its cheeks. Then it may be time to try again.
It's not a laughing matter, what if they need to open a can in less than 10 seconds?!
That is the setup I would prefer and would want. I wonder why they didn't upgrade the plain edge to a better steel.
Cool... but am I the only one missing the bottle/can opener?I'd rather replace the mini-bit exchanger for an awl
Also, 10,000 pieces? That's a lot. Maybe we could ask them to unload their surplus to MTO?
I like the combo opener too. But that little awl looks nice. But if it were to replace the eyeglass bit, the awl would have been even shorter.I modded my Charge AL, and put the Rebar awl in the large flathead's place.
Finally! They took out the bottle/can opener out of a MT with pliers...took long enough.Plz let this be the next wave model...it's strictly better Imo.
