Day13

The little guy woke me way early in the morning, while dozing off with a cup of coffee, I gazed at my Ranger bathing in soft morning sunlight...did you guys ever do that?  Or was it just me being me? :D

Day 12. Doing my collection seasonal reset, in advance of stores restocking due to seasonal resets. Meaning--a whole lot of stuff I didn't have room for in the first place gets brought home. Think it's about time I did a bit of a cull to my diecast collection--way too many extras from used lot buys, as well as 5-Pack and 9-Pack purchases from stores. That ought to clear out at least 2-3 of my storage cases for more additions.  My MT collection is similar, with loads of "Stainless China" giveaway knives that aren't even good as users.

Nice collection!  :tu:   And I like that mentality of organizing just to get more! :D

Day 12

No use for the Ranger, today.  The pup has been sick today, so stayed home and had a slow day.   Decide to take a picture with the taste test glasses.

That's the funny thing about it. It's basically a 2/3 scale Bear Jaws. Everything is shrunken down, but the pliers are tough for its size.  While it is no bigger than, say, a Leatherman Squirt, the pliers are more robust than the Juice. I do need to make the drivers more effective (kinda rounded). Other than that, I feel this is one of my favorite small MTs, along with the Vic 58mm family and the LM Micra/Style/Squirt.

Maybe...if only knives could talk to their users, what would they say?

Day 12:

Watched a bit of playoff football and finished knitting a scarf. This is a short, thick scarf, designed to be worn under a fishing vest or wading jacket (don't want the tails dangling in the river). I used two strands of wool in a woven pattern to give the scarf a bit more density and insulation. The Ranger clipped the yarn free when it was done. A sharp knife is a good thing.
