Good one, Barry! :tu:

And congrats, Cody! :like:
The Rebar is indeed a great working-man tool. :)
Pontificating particularly pious positions pertaining to polymorphic paraphernalia. G-Man.

Well done Barry  :hatsoff:.  The Rebar is a nice densely packed MT.  Lots of modding possiblities if one chooses as well.

Absolutely. What if they made a ST300 in that color combo!

If Leatherman did that my wallet would be even more flat as it already is...  ::)

And a ST300 in Coyote screams for a backup tool to keep NIB in the collection  :ahhh.

I have a rebar and I used it only one time and never used it again. The best is the original super tool because it's pretty slim and has a good amount of tools plus it's a full size.

Welcome Thatperson!    Several of us just completed a SuperTool challenge in June.  Tools included the Core, OriginalST, ST200, ST300.

Your observation was shared by a few who have the pleasure of owning a Original ST as well as other variants, the OG ST seemed to be more satisfying to use.

For me, I found a ST300 at a good price a few years ago, used it in my work, also, in a 30 day challenge but found the size made it difficult to carry it all the time.  It was recommended to try the Rebar and I did and still do find it a great tool choice.

A OG ST may cross my path someday and I will likely add it to my set for another option and to experience for myself.

It is yet my impression the OG ST was marketed as a LARGE MT, while the WAVE, CHARGE(s), and REBAR are categorized as Full size MT.

By the way, the originator of this thread DID acquire a REBAR, after a little coaching from membership here.  He updated this thread just a day or so ago, now he was faced with fixing an air conditioner do to his new experiences.

Again, welcome to MTo :hatsoff: :multi: :multi:

It is kinda ironic that this thread just resurfaced.  I’ve been looking at getting a new multitool and seriously considering the Rebar.  On top of that I just discovered today that there is a Knifeless Rebar that has scissors instead of a blade which has me interested.  I almost always carry a folding knife where allowed over the multitool knife blade.

Decisions, decisions.
