I really like the BK-5.  :tu:

....and the BK-9, though I have fewer uses for it.   :D

I have the BK2. BK7, BK9, and BK10, but I did not get any of them until years after I quit camping out, so I have never had a chance to test them out. :dunno:

I like the feel of the handles on them and they definitely take a good edge.

My BK5 has a slight chip in the edge, resulting from a bit of carelessness by your's truly, and is awaiting a good sharpening. I'll try to clean it up and post a pic here in the next few days.  :tu:

If you ever get a chance to talk to Ethan, take it. He is a great guy to chew the fat with.

Awesome interveiw. I'm a big fan of Becker knives. I have Camillus and Ka-Bar Beckers. I'll be taking some to the high country soon.

Becker knives are a great outdoorsman knife. My BK9 and BK15 are my favorites. Each of my Beckers has a SAK in the pouch on the sheath. They go well together.

Nice interview, I have a few Beckers, but favorite is still the recent BK62 Becker Kephart.  Though it is technically a replica, the combination of dimension, weight and balance are absolutely perfect.

Did you meet him at a knife show or a Beckerhead Gathering? Either way it must have been a great experience.

I have seen some great reviews on the BK62.

I actually shed a tear when they discontinued the BK5 and BK15
