Opening a Case Russlock using thumb only

If you hold the Russlock like it shows in these photos you can actually open the blade in one smooth move using only your thumb.

You use the part of your thumb just above the crease in your thumb to push against the lever. This allows your thumb to continue around in the arc as the blade opens.

I always open mine using only my thumb.

I bought a Russlock when they first came out and since there were no instructions with it I spent the first day experimenting with it until I figured out how to open it using only my thumb. Once you get used to it, it is easy to do. :D
