It's amazing really, someone's spent all that money on a great tool and then just left it propped up on a rusting farm vehicle, how careless of them   :ahhh

Do you have one of the old hole OHT's?  If so, which do you like better?

Mike beat me to the article, but for quick reference:

New hole on the left, old hole on the right.  The liner lock mechanism has also changed, with a bit more surface area showing at both ends.

Interesting article, shows just how much attention Vic pay to the smallest parts do all the little changes make it a much better tool or is it just "slightly" better?

The liner lock is easier to access, especially with gloves.  I don't think it needs instructions printed on it though- it's like training wheels on a Harley.  If you need them, you probably shouldn't be using it to begin with.

The hole design seems to allow the thumb pad to rotate better inside the hole, so the blade opens smoother.  At least, that's how it appears to work, and I'd be lying if I said I came up with that theory.  We have our own Swiss Man to thank for putting the brain work into it!  The average person may not notice a difference, but when you put the two of them side by side and really pay attention to it, you can feel the difference.

It is a very handy function when you need somewhere to put it when you're at the top of a ladder! Just weird that Vic forgot to put it in the manual.....
