So those combos are going to be sold at SoSAK?

Damn, I need to become a member... I REALLY dig the silver combo!

Well I don't have any details to give, but Tim is planning something interesting along those lines.  Stay tuned for details...

I don't necessarily need details... I just need to know where I have to be to buy one :)

Am I to assume that it will be something like the December SAK of the Month on Tim's Sosakonline shop?

And I don't know how to register for the newsletter.  I'm registered on sosakonline, but I can't find anything that has to do with a newsletter...

Ugh, I feel like an idiot :)

If you are a member of SOSAKOnline you should automatically get the newsletter.  I send it out on the first of every month.

As for the rest, I neither confirm nor deny anything...

Hmm... I don't get a newsletter.  When I go to sosakonline, it says I'm logged in at the bottom left of the page... I can access the user menu and stuff.

I've been registered at sosakonline for a while now too...

Absolutely.  Of course, when you see Tim's prices on SAK's and Tom's prices on modding and customizing supplies it can start to get pricey, but it is indeed free to join.  Actually, you don't even have to be a member there to take advantage of Tim and Tom's stores, prices etc.  And, all but the absolutre most secret articles are open to the public as well.

The good thing about SAK addiction is that they tend to be cheaper on the whole than flashlights or multitools!

I like to call them the "affordable" addiction!

You have a point there... but there are only a few SAKs that run over the $100 mark, while many multitools are there and beyond.  That's what I meant...

I finally bit the bullet and got a Victorinox Spirit(amazon.com had it for $44.99 with free shipping).  I like it.  It's very well built, larger and heavier than I thought it would be, but that's just a plus on good engineering.  The leather sheath is nice, but I'm not sure if I like the velcro flap as much as a snap.  It's got me itching for the Plus kit with the wrench and bits, but the $25 + s/h seems a bit steep for me.  Also pictured are a few more of my multi-tools:  Leatherman Juice Pro(yes, that's a Victorinox micro screwdriver in the corkscrew  :D), an older black oxide Gerber(15 year old made in USA model, the handles will pinch the fire out of you if you're not careful), and the newer model Wave with pocket clip.

Nice collection!

(Does your black Gerber have blunt jaws, or needlenose?)

It has the blunt tip.  I had another stainless one just like it and gave it to one of my brother-in-laws, of course he lost it, argh.  The very first time I used that Gerber it gave me a nasty blood blister on my palm.  The older ones seem better built, besides the pinching, than the lightweigt/flimsy feel to Gerbers newer ones IMO.

That's really sweet!  I am afraid though, that all you are accomplishing is getting me more and more keyed up about the black SuperTool 200 I am getting!

Check here:  http://moontrail.com/ltg-wave-new.php

They offer a B.O. lanyard ring and pocket clip for $6 plus shipping about 1/4 of the way down the page.  I have ordered from this company a few times and have had no issues.
Good deals on their windmill lighters also: http://moontrail.com/accessrs/a-windmill_lighter/windmill.html
