Hehe... that's funny.  I think the cheapest car I've ever bought was $65.  I've had a couple of cars given to me for free for parts, but I think that's the cheapest I've ever paid...

$250 CDN, which was about $200 US at the time.  It was a 1980 Pontiac Catalina, sister car to the Parisienne and Caprice.  It had a 305 with 400,000 miles on it and I was the third owner, the second having been a good friend of mine.

I swear the power steering motor in that thing was more powerful than the engine in my Sunfire!

Oh, and an '89 GMC Tracker without a roof for $300... it had 340,000 kms on it and we swapped out the original clutch, then a friend of mine stole a roof for me from a carpool parking lot...

I can't even fill up the gas tank in my truck for that much.  :P

The best part is that i bought it on ebay, and the car was in Indiana.  It cost more to drive down there and pick it up than it did to buy the car.

Sorry Dunc, that's the only version I've got. It was on some sort of a website that supplied generic photos - they had thousands of misc pictures. It also had a search function, so on a whim I searched for "multi tool." A few pictures came up, including this one. I saved it because it looked so striking.

But now I can't seem to find the site again.  :(

Even funnier when you use the word "Wenger" in the same sentence as "My tool"!
