Ha I used to when they first came out. Eventually stopped and saved them for my son. Though at this point I’m thinking of selling the whole lot. He is not as interested as I was.

Cute little buggers though.  What kind do you have?

I have 1 as part of my boba fett/mandalorian collection, and a few non funko similarly styled ones. TBH I hate that most of the Funko versions are just a repaint, no sculpting changes... and the prices get outrageous...

I agree on the cost for what you get. My son got the mandalorian ones for Christmas and wants the wave 2 set now. That’s about 15 new ones I’ll have to hunt down for him. No new tools for me for a bit.

Guild Wars 2 has some special thing going on with Aurene, Joko, and Rytlock. Buy one and get a free in-game mini too. Not into the Funko Pop and I spent way too much on the game as it is.  :ahhh

I have the marvel heroes like Thor, some early Star Wars. But agree on the repaint. You end up spending more on insignificant variations.

repaints I can accept:
Boba ESB/ROTJ versions
Jango
Prototype Armour/supertrooper
Any actual character that has similar armour where it's actually appropriate.

Repaints that can do one:
Camoprint
Chrome
Gold
Black with a mythosaur skull logo on the helmet

While in Paris I visited several "comic" and "memorabilia" stores... some of them are completely overrun with at least 50% of their floor space dedicated to funko pops. I cannot stomach the 50euros the repaints go for because it's a new/limited edition (chrome/gold) I would rather not buy 4 of them and get another top notch 1/6th scale sideshow...

I do like that they have a pop for virtually everyone.

Does this fall into the ok repaint category? My sons birthday is in a few months and thought I’d get a head start on his gifts. This one caught my eye. It’s a 10 inch one and it’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I dig it, but I’m a sucker for mandalorian armor/style.

Yup, one of the repaints.

Don't call it Boba Fett, mandalorian ok, but never was his armour painted like that.

True. Fair enough.
