A little scratching is common on my tools, but that looks pretty severe tanker. Can you see what's dragging against it?
I guess it has something to do with the bright finish? looking closely and comparing with my old Wave the space between the pliers and the handles is almost zero in the new Wave. My old one doesn´t have a hint of a scratch.
If a fraction of anything get caught in between when you open or close the tool I guess this is inevitable but as I said I don´t know if the finishing in this Anniversary Wave is a fraction thicker than regular Waves? may be...
I talked with a friend and yes he told me his Surge has some scratches in the same place but they are minimal, he said.
To be honest now that I look the pics again I would say first pic is more like the real thing, the second pic looks worse than it is, may be because of the light, the macro, etc, BUT they are there, the first scars of a warrior...that hasn´t been in a battle yet
