Day 6, and I'm carrying my red-scaled Voyageur today.   I think this is the first non-Pioneer we've seen on the challenge so far?

My mistake, that’s my OC pioneer! Small pics are hard to make out when selecting them

Some great work with your Old Cross Vics. Yesterday, I needed to open a can and my can opener was not nearby so out came the Old Cross Pioneer and it's can opener was put to work.
Cheers!

This tiny gem doesn’t typically get any pocket time, but it’s accompanying me to an appointment today.

I'm really enjoying seeing all of these fantastic old knives!

Day 6

Switched things up today, I used the awl on this old soldier to open up some flooring.

Nice knives y’awl!

Day 7

Time to “recycle” card packaging to back the paper targets in my pellet catcher/target holder in readiness for a nice dry off to do some more air rifling. OC solo main blade does the duty on chopping the card up

Very nice, Barry and Rizio!

Day 7 and today I'm carrying my silver-scaled Elinox Voyageur.  I'd forgotten how minty this one was.

Frailer wins the challenge today!   I've never even seen one of these old Elinox pioneers with gold scales.  Well done!

Day 07
It's time for the Tom Hanks test (or Castaway test). In the movie, before boarding the plane that crashes, Hanks leaves his keys in the center council of the truck and makes a point of saying, "I won't need these."  His SAK is attached to the keys.  It appears to be a Tinker or Pioneer.  Later on the island he is trying to open coconuts with a sharp rock, and he says, "what I wouldn't give for a Swiss Army knife right about now."  With this in mind I attempt to use every challenge tool to open a coconut.  The short Electrician blade made easy work of segmenting the husk so I could peel it off, and did so safely.  The awl was then used to poke out a couple of the eyes so I could pour out the liquid.  The OC Electrician passes the test.

Well now we need Frailer's input!   What say you, @Frailer?  Is this in fact a gold-scaled Pioneer or is it just funky lighting on silver scales?

My guess is that he has a Bugnard with the yellow scales which has been slightly pocket worn.

C'mon Frailer, which is it??
