Where as other browsers will render what is written, IE will do its own thing
So basically it bothers web site designers mostly then. It's fine for me though.
On this subject, I was today reading an article by the Associated Press on the recent hacking attacks on the Twitter site, among a few others. This apparently involved a bit of mirth, a bit of mischief and (on a more serious note)a bit of personal information lifting. What's funny is that the writer of the AP article (a Firefox user, I suspect) makes note of the fact that the false diversions put up did not fool Firefox, which warned its users of the forgeries and detours. Internet Explorer users, the article makes plain, went in unawares of the ruse. I thought it odd that the writer mentioned this, but as an unabashed Firefox fan I was elated!
Ugh, no, really, Firefox is not a bit more secure. As such, I used Firefox for the tabs until I.E. finally integrated them. Then I went back to I.E.As for the rest of it, it's a judge as you will kind of thing.
