I left alone, my mind was blank.  I needed time to think to get the memories from my mind.  What did I see?  Can I believe that what I saw that night was real and not just fantasy?  Just what I saw, in my own dreams, were the reflections of my own warped mind looking back at me.

Bonus points to those of you who recognize the infamous Number of the Beast from Iron Maiden, and I hope that it will be stuck in your head all day today.

But, what does it have to do with MTO?  Or is Dear Old Uncle Def just going off on one of his fool tangents again?

You see, we have just upgraded the server (again  :facepalm:) and, as we are not quite at the start of our next billing cycle, we have to pay the difference for the remaining time, which, as I am hoping you have guessed by now, has worked out to...

Kind of pointless I know, but when Micah told me what it worked out to, we both got a chuckle, especially since I have always been a huge Iron Maiden fan, and in fact, the first concert Micah and I ever went to together was Iron Maiden and Anthrax in... maybe 1990?  91?  I don't recall, but it was the No Prayer on the Road tour, and it was either December or January and absolutely freezing out.

Anyways, I figured I would share, because, let's face it, during a worldwide pandemic, what the heck else are you going to do?  :D

Yeah, that sounds close enough to what I remember.  I remember the cold....

Oh yeah, and the guy behind me before the show started talking about how there were so many women and he only had one smurf.  Then he said he needed a Swiss Army Smurf, and I thought he was going to pound the crap out of me after I asked why he needed a smurf with a can opener.
