Day 10
I really am enjoying the Gerber MP600 Pro-Scout.  The last several days have truly been a treat.  The tools aren't too small after all and I think they should stand up to years of heavy duty use. I had always wondered what ever happened to all my old beer cans after I recycled them and now I know.
And to think that you have only 21 more days to enjoy it!   :ahhh

I bet you wish this challenge was 60 days long, like the Go BIG Challenge.

Day 11

How well will the hammerhead slice a tomato?

Straight blade

Serrated

Answer, not very well

However to be fair it opens boxes fine and definitely isn’t aimed at the kitchen

Day 10
The Minimaster helped adjust the flame on my butane Zippo insert.  It also helped add a split ring to a rubber bracelet and cutting some paracord.

I think you underestimate it for the kitchen. You're the only one of us with a multitool with a built-in meat tenderizer!

Come on, you know you want to try it.

Funny you should say that Steve as I meant to try exactly that on a steak last weekend …will do before the challenge is out

Like the colors on the paracord bracelet.  Do you know what that weave pattern is called?

Hope things are going to clam down soon, stay safe!

DAY 10
Once again your practical uses surpass my own feeble efforts  :surrender:

It would appear that the twisted knee (done at work a couple of weeks ago) is not getting any better  ::)

The OHT opened a support/strap-on type thing (no lewd comments please; you know who you are  :pok: )

Get well soon, but your last comment got me curious. >:D

It is a side view of a basic cobra stitch that I did around a rubber bracelet.  Or did you mean the paracord name?

Day 10

Food prep again today, making a sandwich for lunch.

The knife blade did a fine job slicing tomato.

The scissors attempted in vain to cut the plastic bag for the cheese. I gave up with them after a couple of snips and switched to the very sharp knife blade.

No way, that plastic bag look stiff enough to be cut easily, didn't fathom Wenger's scissors is so lacking.

I had to change out the electrical service for a house today. The TripSaver assisted with tightening the nut on this standoff strap.
Good use!

Just checking in.

Looks like you guys are up to no good.

Day 10:

Took a photo when the work was in progress, but apparently it didn't take as it did not show up on my phone.

I had elastic "Lock Laces" in my shoes. I didn't learn to tie my shoes until I was 12, and found it to be tedious until relatively recently. The elastic laces were more hassle than help. They always fit weird, and the tips would often pop off of them. I found other pairs of shoes I liked better, and usually wore those instead. I already got rid of them in one pair of workboots, but replaced them in a pair of older running shoes today.   Had to use the Swiza's awl and can opener to pry off the tip. Tried to save as much as I could for reuse later.

(Image removed from quote.)

Used the remaining (the other one got lost about two years ago) tip and some the leftover shock cord to make a lanyard for my new CPM-20CV Spyderco Jester. I normally don't bother with (expensive) Spyderco models, and I never have an interest in the sprint runs. Cheap for a sprint run ($50-something shipped), check. High-end steel that should hold an edge for a year or more, check.  Model that has not been produced as a regular model since 2005, check.   The model I wanted for a long time, but figured I'd have to sell a kidney or firstborn offspring to afford, check.  Thus, I could not pass on it. The Jester evolved into the Ladybug 3, which uses the handle that originated in the Jester. I like the blade shape much better than the stock Ladybug profile.

(Image removed from quote.)

I wonder if you use a paracord stopper in place of the lock lace, maybe that would work better?

Thanks Sos Cobra stitch was what I was looking for so I can find an instructional video for it.  I wear a medic alert tag on a small corded bracelet and I'll need to replace the bracelet soon.

None of the TripSaver's tools are lightweight. Case in point, the awl:

You can't do any fine sewing with it, but it does a good job of punching, reaming, and scraping. I was able drill a hole through a PVC conduit rather quickly:

That is how things are as you get older. I had a similar problem 2 years ago and it took several months for it to heal.

Seeing this has reminded my of

"Ladies and gentlemen! I did not come here tonight just to make you laugh. I came here to sell you something and I want you to pay particular attention!

The amazing Master Tool Corporation, a subsidiary of Fly-By-Night Industries, has entrusted who? Me! To show you! The handiest and the dandiest kitchen tool you've ever seen. And don't you wanna know how it works!?

Well first you get out an ordinary apple. You place the apple between the patented pans. Then you reach for the tool that is not a slicer, is not a dicer, is not chopper in a hopper! What in the hell could it possibly be?! The Sledge-O-Matic!"

Hmmm...but to be fair, I think not all knives could perform that task well, the geometry of the blade and sharpness really does dictate that.

I actually like the shape of this 'blade'(instead of an awl), maybe good for making wood shavings?
