A good English breakfast. Plenty of B vitamins.  Much better than Vegemite.  I tried that stuff once.  It was awful.  Only thing is I thought there was supposed to be Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, eggs, baked beans, toast, and Spam. So where is your Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, eggs and Spam? :pok:

It's fair. But considering a) how little time I had to get ready this morning and b) I could barely be arsed doing beans on toast, there was bugger all chance of spam, eggs or anything else...

I did have a full breakfast in Manchester the other week that included Spam, mind you. Very nice it was, too.

The Delemont Challenge GAW Pt 2
It’s been a great challenge so far and I’m sure as we head into the final week there’ll be even more excellent posts, pics and Delemonts to entertain us, thanks everyone  :hatsoff: :salute:

As previously hinted we’re having another Delemont GAW, this time just for challengers  :tu: :woohoo:

You’re all automatically entered and I’ll pick the winner later in the week using the number you entered the challenge with, via random number generator as before.
Not everyone who signed up has actually taken part so they’ll be removed from the list, closest wins

The prize is this lovely EvoWood 10 with walnut scales

That is such a nice GAW, and thank you for the generosity!  Since I do own one already, I too do like to bow out of this GAW, so other would have a better chance.  Thanks again! :hatsoff:

#23 Chilling in his case today
That's actually a really nice case, don't think I have seen this one in the past.

It's "Weng" night for dinner tonight. As is usually the case, my wife and daughter wanted Asian flavors, and I wanted BBQ. So Wengs two ways it is.

This looks good!

Day 24.

Back with the awlsome '75 Wenger SI for today.  Love the sharpened edge inside the cap lifter.

I always do think this variation of the model 61 is one of the classiest alox solder, very neat looking knife that could withstand the test of time. :like:

Day 24

Spend half a day with little guy going to local video arcade and games, and his school is rallying the parents to assemble boxes of gift for underprivileged kids, so Delemont Evo 17 came out of the organizer to help with the packing.

I always wonder about those Roomba thingy, how well do they perform in a long run? :pok:

This one is the VW beetle of the vacs. It runs and runs and runs sucks and sucks and then it sucks even more. Until you need to remove some crap from it inner workings and/or it's time for a trip to Mr. Garbage. Again and again fascinating what you'll find while emptying.

Powernoodle Day 24

The scissors on the Pocket Tool Chest performs poorly on some things like plastic bags, but very well on paper.

Strangely, it is correctly called "scissors" rather than "scissor".  The word derives from Middle English cisours or sisoures, from Middle French cisoires, from Vulgar Latin caesorium (singular) cutting instrument, from Latin caedere to cut.  The first known usage of the words "scissors" in English was in the 15th century.  It is quite a strange and wonderful invention.  The strangest invention in common usage, IMO, is the umbrella.  Its just so bizarre to see people walking around carrying their own roofs.

Day 24

Beans on toast.

(Image removed from quote.)

I may be the only person here in The Colonies who eats beans on toast.  It is quite yummy, and filling.

:iagree: with you on the PTC scissors Powernoodle.  They're not the best at grooming either, but they really cut cardboard and paper well.  Thanks for the background on scissors too!   :like:  I find that the PTC works way above its size class.  I'm going to try to get some Awl usage in to see how it does.  I really wish Vic would bring it back and capitalize on the 65mm size.  Mine is a well used example, with worn backspings.  Speaking of worn, does anyone know who might have factory fresh scales for these knives?  I'd love to shine up mine.

Not at all!

I keep a few cans of baked beans on hand for a quick supper of Bean-on-Toast when time is short. Or when the mood strikes. Love it!   :tu:

( And, some dietary wisdom in that dish: beans + bread = complete set of amino acids.   ;)  )

Day 24

Today the S52 blade and saw carved a pumpkin for front porch decoration. The tweezers removed a thorn from my hand (goose hunting injury  :dunno:)

24/30

Diagnosing an issue on the Harley. Used the scissors to trim the ends of the air line on the bikes rear suspension to verify no leaks.

Ah, but are they straight-up beans or "enriched" with something? Bit of butter? Grated Cheese? Curry powder?  Worcester sauce?

I've just made myself hungry.  :D

Just plain and simple beans this morning. I wasn't in the mood to faff around!
