Yesterday I removed the lanyard loop and added a package opener.
But why lose the lanyard loop?
Just run it along some sandpaper or a flat diamond file, to remove what feels like a millionth of an inch in thickness, and just drop it in place of the washer.
No tools lost, but an added package opener!

Great mod, but what if I want to keep the spacer as well?  :D
