Figure I'd apply for a Hobo Tool badge in between challenges, here I have used the Ka Bar Hobo tools for a steak meal and soup:








I actually quite this hobo set, the weight is around 150g(5.3oz), and the handle length is about 9.5cm(3.75in).  The handle length is just right, and offers a full grip on my medium sized hand.


Considering it is stainless steel construction, the weight is not too bad.  The folk, spoon and knife all clicked onto each other pretty securely.  The knife has a liner lock, while both folk and spoon has a nice tight back spring and function like a slip joint.  The only slight drawback is the size of the spoon, which is tad bit small for soup(more like a dessert spoon).  But I haven't tried the bottle opener this time, so can't honestly comment on that.

Start a new thread and post a photo of the minimal sak (2 layers or fewer) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of either an Axe, MT/Folding knife or Fixed blade (picked at the beginning of challenge) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Spyderco knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of a different blade each day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK Soldier for thirty (30) consecutive days. I believe so, I got mine 2 years ago and it seems like dealers are still selling the same hobo tool.
