:D A fine Wild Turkey hen that wandering through our yard. We had 5 more today. There's times that we have 50-60 in a flick that pass through, and then months we don't see any.

Ok Barry who let you have that feather? That looks like someone who doesn’t need a SwissChamp …. :ahhh

Day 43

Took the swisschamp out for a deer hunt today. Lots of turkeys passed by early in the afternoon. Lots of does and fawns out and about. Finally saw a small buck and managed to get a decent shot with the old Winchester 30-30. A short track later and I put the trusty champ to work. Field dressed the deer and notched the tag all with the main blade. It worked better than I expected it to. I'm not recommending it, but figured I'd give it a shot  in the spirit of the challenge. Met up with this snake on the drag out. He was probably hunting, same as me. Good day in the woods and another win for the swisschamp.

Day 12 of 30 (Stack Challenge)

Ok, this one needs a little explanation. Working on a small electrical repair project.

Used the fish scaler (handy, all-purpose pusher and prodder) to push the wire from the solar cell through the hole in the side of the plastic sleeve, then a 90 degree turn to go out the end of the sleeve. The exit hole is smaller than the hole the fish scaler is in and it narrows right at the solar charger. So no way the wire was making that turn by itself. Enter the fish scaler to push it through!

Then used the small blade to separate the two strands of the wire so I could strip them.

Now I just need to figure out how to connect those ends to the wires on the light. The challenge is that all the wires are tiny, about 1mm in diameter.
SAKs:
58mm: Bijou (3), Classic SD (7), Mini Champ Plus (mod), Alox Classic SD, Rambler (3), Companion
65mm: Wenger Esquire
74mm: Executive (2)
85mm: Traveler, Delemont S10, Bass
91mm: Champion "c", Swiss Champ (4), Explorer (3), Deluxe Tinker, Huntsman, Serrated Spartan/Weekender, Explorer Plus, Deluxe Explorer Plus (mod), Outdoorsman Plus, Champion "a", Champion Plus, Timekeeper Alarm, Golfer
93mm: Pioneer Alox

That's some serious Champ usage.  :salute:  A classic rifle and knife.  8)

:like: Nothing like taking one with a beautiful old rifle!  When my Huntsman was all I had, it was my hunting knife too.  Always got the job done.

Excellent work!

I'm always surprised by what the 91mm blades can do.
