Bacon!

Day 50

No time for action shots today. Used the champ scissors to notch some deer tags and cut 550 cord to attach to the deer.
Just a glamor shot of the warhawk

Day 51/60.

A bit of post opening and Yorkshire Tea bag removal with the Universal Scaler so nothing very exciting from the Jelly Red SwissChamp.

The saw action on Saturday got me to thinking what I should carry when the challenge ends ... and I thought "how about the SwissChamp...?". Certainly this prolonged period of carry has made me re-evaluate the Champ very positively.

  With sweet mustard?

Btw, did you know that Weißwurst is a French invention?  :pok:

Hadn't any mustard at home... But there's also mayonnaise.

Didn't know it is originally from France. Yay. Common european heritage.

I had the same thought. I've so enjoyed this challenge, that I'm not sure I'll switch to another SAK in September. With some challenges, I find that I become bored with the challenge tool, no matter how much I like it. With this challenge, my enjoyment of the Swiss Champ seems to grow with each day.

My first Swiss Champ challenge, which I did on a lark, taught me the Swiss Champ was not the huge brick of a tool I thought it might be. This challenge has made the Swiss Champ seem downright practical. And with so many tool options, some of which have gone unused to date.

Day 51

Used the pliers to remove fuel line clamps on the wood splitter. Seems I got some bad fuel somewhere. It's always something. Luckily the swisschamp is always ready to lend a hand.

I was seriously considering joining the Delemont challenge next month, but not sure. After 51 days of carrying the champ, I am not sure I can get along without it. So much utility in a convenient size tool.
