Day 19 of 60:

Thought I'd have a go at making char cloth and char punk. I've never made charred punk wood before so this is a first.

A tomato can got filled with punk wood and cotton cloth.

(Image removed from quote.)

Then closed up with foil and tie wire. The pliers got used to twist the wire down tight, not to seal the can, but to keep the foil in place during the 'cook'.

We'll see how this turns out!   :tu:

I've heard that the corkscrew is good for pulling out drywall anchors, but I haven't tried it.

Day 20

Used the pliers to remove fuel bowl off the old baler this morning. Made a few adjustments with the drivers. Time to get some hay put up for winter.

Day 20/60. Small blade helped carefully ease open a very special parcel via USPS. Positively flew over the pond. And then promptly waded around in treacle with our ParcelFarce. This one’s for you Barry. A repro of an early M-422 USN jacket contract.

Excellent charred stuff Nix. Positively glowing result

Aside from messing around with chert and steel and burnt stuff, no uses for the Swiss Champ today.
