UK Fuel Fiasco.

I just heard on the radio about the tanker shortage in the UK. To our members across the pond, how are things associated with this?
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

It's a repeat of the great toilet paper crisis of 2020 TJ. Mostly its idiots panic buying in limited areas, and the media circle like sharks.

Ironically,  here in Northern Ireland, where the Nirthern Irland Protocol has been messing things around, we have no shortage of petrol or HGV drivers. Cumberland sausages are still an issue though.
There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!

I'm shattered,  just been stacking jerry cans in my wood shed - not easy when it's an odd number or when they're full to the brim, I can tell ya!

Anyway, what's the crack here then?...
Merit Badges Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) Only for the 14th year Anniversary Challenge. Post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of a different blade each day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. You have one of your pictures in the 2020 calendar or in top three of the calendar poll in any month of the given year. Post a picture and recipe for a batch of Chili that you have made Participate  in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a LM Pocket Survival Tool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of an Axe for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of a traditional folder for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month. I understand it's not too dissimilar a phenomenon to the ammunition shortage in the US, at least as described to me by my septic friends who like to shoot.
Rumours of shortages leading to hoarding and panic-buying, resulting either in actual shortages... and/or a lag in supply whilst it is exceeded by demand.

People have been going nuts in Wales as well, I don't really drive much anymore, the half empty food shelves are more a bother to me  :facepalm:
