How to stop a thread coming up in replies?
on: January 05, 2022, 06:43:46 AM
How would one go about stopping a thread being watched for replies? Had a dig around but couldn't see an option for it, thanks in advance!

I heard there is an "Unsubscribe from thread" option but I have never found it.
Perhaps it is not available with all themes?

Click on the unnotify button ?  Located at the top right amongst the other thread options.

I haven't seen an ignore thread on these boards.
It may not play nice with our other options so isn't installed or enabled maybe.
Don't think it has to do with theme used.
I'm pretty surprised that only 27 people use SunRise.
I like it.

I just switched to it 10 minutes ago.
I prefer dark modes (old eyes).

I asked the same question a decade or so ago and the answer was that it was not possible, at the time, and this still seems true.

It is annoying that if you post once in a thread you are stuck with it in your Replies view for ever.....

I can only see a Notify button.... BUT if you click it to notify (which you shouldn't need to as you already get notified if you have posted in the thread) you can then click again to un-notify.

I have notify, which I presume I'd have to toggle on and off and would have to do with email notifications
