Day 6

Brown Boveri Tourist. As I said on day one, ASEA and Brown Boveri were customers of Vic long before the two merged to form ABB.

One of my few SAKs that are idiot proof to date, as it commerates the completion of a high voltage DC transformer project in New Mexico in January 1985

Day 6 early
Wants to be a Spartan, probably not. See the strange main blade marking...maybe Pradel-French?  But it has a shield? It was like this as a kid and now I'm...ok...68 and 1/2, so is this possibly around 100 !?! EDC as a kids, the guys climbing trees, building forts, fishing, etc.
No gals yet we were explorers! This was the old North Bronx, few sidewalks, few streetlights. Shame they had to "fix" everything....

Thanks buddy, it's SAK toolset but- they didn't have laws back then lol! That's a shield, yes?
I have another knife with that strange blade marking, so it is no where near a SAK so I guess mine above isn't either.
But whomever knew what basic cool tools to copy!

Cool knife, Tony Sal. Would love to see some more pics with close ups, other tools open, etc.

Day 12

If you don't post at least one apple slicing pic, can you really call yourself a Swiss Army Knight?

I have a Sportsman around that I might have to bring in for a bit.   I love the 84/85mm SAKs.

Good idea Barry, I do think 84mm are my favourite pocketable SAK's and swapping in a Sportsman for a guest slot? It'd be rude not to

That's a very interesting pocket knife Tony. Someone definitely knew what they were trying to do (nearly).  :like:

I'm well-prepared for a day of working on the laptop and picking up dog p**p in the backyard.

Day 6: Replacing the daytime running lamps on my VW with the assistance of the Spartan's small blade.  It cut open the package for me.

I put a plastic ring around the offending Chocolate Dragon, and then after it desiccates I pick it up with a gloved hand.  Good times.

Day 6

More action from the wee hours of the morning: the small blade was used to cut the seal off an ice cream carton.

DAY 6  I could have had a pic of  Blue peeling and cutting potatoes, but I wasn't paying attention while my wife did it.

Instead, no use today, just a beauty shot.

Day 13

Doing some can opener tests, and the Spartan was up today. I think I like the combo tool a bit better, opening "backwards" just makes more sense to me. More than adequate job though.
