Safety is third, so we don't worry too much about self-inflicted injuries...unless McStitchy is involved...but please abide by the rules and refrain from stabbing sailors.   :salute:

The 112 Slim is a great knife, and it offers superb bang for the buck. Congratulations!

I seem to have lost misplaced the Ranger I was planning on using for the challenge.... :ahhh....however, this Buck Ranger Skinner helped harvest some jalapeños for this evening's guacamole.

It's a pity the 113 doesn't qualify for this challenge......  :-\

That 113 is darn near the most beautiful fix blade I have laid my old eyes upon.

Even nicer than the Sept BOM that sold out in a few hours last Thursday.

If I had a second 112, I'd send it your way. However, the Slims can be found for about $30 (if you don't mind GFN).

Just to make sure I’m understanding, you lost the 112 that you were planning on using, but not your only 112?  I think my mind may be blown if you are saying you only have one Range and lost it!

That 113 does look sweet though.

I think we can allow guest appearances of 113!

It is a blend of the 112 Ranger  and the Vanguard, why it is referred to as the 113 Ranger👍

The handle is exactly the same (within 99%) of the 112 Ranger handle. A cool idea, but, more importantly, a versatile handle!   :tu:

Please explain this "one" concept to me.......

In any event, after a bit of diligent searching, digging, and panicking, the 112 I'm planning on using for the challenge has been found:

Buck 112 Ranger, 5160 steel, some sorta grey wood scales.

I agree.  The title says Ranger Challenge”, so if it is the 113 Ranger then sounds good to me.

Awesome.  The grey is cool.  I remember seeing a 112 with blue colored wood at one point but of course their no longer available anywhere.  But thanks to Berry I have a traditional ebony handled which I plan on using.

I like my 112, so I’ll be checking in. Don’t think I’m up for the challenge this time though. Good luck!
