Keeping up with this challenge is a challenge in itself. Some superb cutlery on show, as awlways! :tu:

Day 12

As promised, my 3137 makes an appearance today. Mostly it was just along for the ride, but it did feature (alongside my other Soddies) on my crappy YouTube channel. The bonus family portrait is being posted despite risk of Rich calling me an enabler. :D

Which handle do you prefer if I may ask?
Is the synthetic a bit slippery sometimes?

Sodbuster got pressed into service in the yard today. Cut plastic, opened compost, and harvested mint. Love this knife!  :tu:

Nice group of Jr's. One of the most comfortable knives for the pocket.

I never quite fell in love with the Sodbuster (sorry Dean), but I can't fault anyone else for liking them.  Your wee pen-knife though; that's very much my cup of tea.  :hatsoff:

Day 13

Getting near the end of my RR knives and this one is something I don't think I've seen from another maker; a mini Barlow.  I even like the bolster stamp on this one.

It really is pretty dinky compared to a more standard size.

I kind of like the blue denim micarta on the larger knife Gareth.  That is one of RR's higher grade editions isn't it?

Day 13

I'm still carrying my RR Hedgehog.  I still love this knife, but it's a little too large and heavy for a comfortable pocket carry.  I think I'm going to switch to a smaller knife tomorrow.  Here is the RR freeing a new toy from its package...

Not one of their "reserve" level knives, but I think it comes from the "carbon" price point.  A little more than the standard, but still very inexpensive.

I've never found it too slippery...but then again, my skin tends to be pretty dry. Bone and synthetic work equally well for me.

Nice group of Jr's.

If I find another, it'll be yours. And I do believe your RR740 is the first Barlow I've ever been drawn to.

Day 13

Today I trotted out a favorite carrier: a Camillus 27. This one was made under contract to Xcelite. Many, many variations of this pattern are out there. Today I did a trial run at wire stripping (took a little longer than a wire stripper, but worked damn good) and cut the filler paper with the blade. I'll be showing another electrician's knife on Day 30.
