Day 17

Long day working and traveling. To keep a civilized appearance I had to use the toothpick for its intended purpose. No action shot (I tried but eww). I have officially lost both the small S biners I was using as pocket clips, they keep popping off during fidgeting. So I have moved to a more traditional carabiner for now.   [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Cutting zip ties off air lines with the Workchamp.

So we could hook some trailers to a brand new Pete.

Another job well done.

Day 17:

I used the scissors today, to trim the obnoxious tags off of my daughter’s new pillows. All on all, a  slow day. But those scissors really are great at precision work.

Day 17 of 30:
Not many opportunities for use today. Sat at a desk with my students and a computer doing state testing and then took my daughter straight to gymnastics after school. Snapped a quick picture off the back deck this evening and then realized I needed to restock the fridge with some drinks, so I used the big blade to cut the end off the boxes.

DAY 17

Meant to post this yesterday evening but promptly fell asleep after getting home. It was another exhausting day of Physical therapy. Used the backside awl to open a package. It wasn’t ideal but surprisingly it worked pretty well. Thought it would be fun to try to use some tools for uses that they are not necessarily intended for.  :ahhh

Tools used so far:
✅  SCISSORS
✅  WOOD SAW
✅  SMALL BLADE
✅  TWEEZERS
✅  CAP LIFTER
✅  MAIN BLADE
✅  PLIERS
✅  CORKSCREW
✅  MAGNIFYING GLASS
✅  PEN
✅  STRAIGHT PIN
✅  MICRO SCREWDRIVER
✅  AWL

Looking good Champs!  :hatsoff:

Day 18

Used the Champion to strip a couple of wires for a CB radio.

Actually had a need for the SAK Pliers to turn some nuts and not having them was not optimal. Will need to XLT it tomorrow I guess.

Day 16

Actually used the swisschamp for something today! Tighting some piece of plastic in a classroom intended to hold the end of the string for some blinds. It was loose and spinning a bit, annoying so I fixed it. :D

Super excited about today’s use. Labeled some slides from an experiment and used the mag lens to double check I had the right section before placing under the microscope.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Also opened a stored box of slides from another experiment to compare.

Day 18:

I actually used the SwissChamp a ton today, while modding an alox SAK. The can opener was used to pry off old cellidor scales. The pliers were used to pull out pivot pins. The file filed down some brass rod. Best of all, the magnifier did an excellent job of helping me see the engraved sizes on my smaller drill bits,

Use to buy stacks of books like that from the used book store.

Haven’t seen no less read one in years. Listen to tons of em but I miss reading and the feel of the book.
