Oh man, looking at all this and being on a rather mild yet still a cutting diet is a bit painful
Dream. Wish. Leave nothing undone. Repeat.

Some actual use today, cut some strips of medical tape with the scissors and trimmed plastic off some 3D prints with the small blade.

Day 29

So I joined in the SOS mystery box located here.

https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,90040.0.html

The box arrived yesterday and I put the most excellent Pruner blade to work.

Packed full of goodies.

My selections were a Rough Rider Traditional style knife and a Whia Mini ratchet.

Very happy with my goodies as I wanted to see a Roughrider but wasn’t willing to buy Chinese.

Now I need someone to sigh up and get some free gear.

Day 29

Nearly done and finally used more of the back tools. It was a busy day so no unfortunately no action shots. Used the corkscrew to untangle a knot in my hammock paracord and cut some frayed ends wiht the scissors. Hook used to lift a pot lid. Awl punctured a hole in the kiddo’s milk box to vent it. Small screwdriver and file used to change out and modify another child proof outlet cover.  May have used the small blade on some mail but can’t remember at this point!

I believe I have used every tool between the regular SC and the XLT.

DAY 29

Got this idea from a recent hook badge request thread. Used the multi-purpose hook to pull out the drawstring, which had gone back down into the hole. The hook really excels at this task.

Day 30

Although I’ve had my Swiss Champ a few years this is the first time I’ve ever really used it, partly cos I’m usually in another challenge :D and partly cos I’ve always found it a bit large for edc

Normally with any SAK I carry, usually 2-4 layers I know I’m missing out on a few tools that could be handy, but never felt that with the SC. Having pretty well everything I’m likely to want (before moving to a dedicated tool) in one place was great. Has that changed my mind about carrying it more often, no. Still prefer something slimmer tbh

Unfortunately due to my back problems (surgery in 2 weeks) I’ve not been able to give it the same level of use I normally do in challenges but I’ve really enjoyed having it by my side nonetheless

Work has kept me busier than usual these last few months so I’ve not commented on everyone’s posts as much as normal but I’ve followed along and been most impressed with the many clever uses and great pics everyone has posted

The vintage SAK challenge starts tomorrow, very much looking forward to it as vintage SAKs are very much my thing, particularly old soldiers. I know some of you are joining, hope to see you all there

Thanks awl for a top challenge :hatsoff:

Day 29:

Bust day today, so crappy last minute pics. But I did take the time to file my nails down with my SwissChamp. The files on these older models are sooooooo much better for filing nails than the newer stainless file.

I love Lee Enfields!!
I never gave these guns much thought, never liking wood stocked rifles (I prefer the target style laminate or synthetic stocks and bull barrels) but after getting this 1 and shooting it,I was hooked.
These are battle rifles from another era,and are fun guns which are still capable.

Day 29
I need to replace the batteries in 1 of my lights

Day 30

This went by quick. I like the CyberTool. The driver is nice and robust, and you have many different tips to choose from, in addition to the opener flatheads and the eyeglass driver. And the driver takes normal 4mm bits, so you could carry more in a tiny tin or chapstick container and have even more options.

I normally edc a Deluxe Tinker, so my CyberTool is just a D Tinker with the bit driver, pen, and corkscrew. Same pliers, scissors and everything else.

I did not really test its limits with this challenge, as I have somewhat limited mobility and I'm having surgery soon myself, but I know it's great, just like my Tinker. I may carry this longer but I do like the Deluxe Tinker thickness.

I have one more day left but I want to say thanks to Enginears for hosting our Challenge and to everyone for a fun month!  I've a special place in my heart for the 'Champs.  They're the original Super Tool, and I've always said, if you can't fix it with one, you can make the tool to fix it.  I wish I would have had one in the days when my daily transport was air cooled Volkswagens because I think I could have done 99 percent of my roadside fixes with one .

Great job everyone and don't forget to apply for your badges if you don't have one yet.

Used the can opener to pry off the white scales of my Rambler and put the blue scales on to make it a Manager.

I've enjoyed this challenge, everyone! Especially as my first challenge. I have a new respect for my Champ and plan on continuing to use it regularly. Thanks to everyone who organized this!

Thanks Enginears for hosting this challenge,I had a blast,I enjoy the challenges.
I edc'd the Cybertool for a few months prior to the challenge,so the Champ is definitely a "pocketable" option for me.i kept the champ part of the (incomplete) SOS kit,so I pocketed the sheath, when I got this kit,I didn't want to separate the Champ from it,so I'll be getting another Champ

Day 30

Used the main blade to open some sausages and burgers for the first BBQ of the year!!

Thanks Enginears for hosting I really enjoyed getting reacquainted with the Champ.

As I sure is the same for many of us the Swiss Champ was one of my most prized possessions as a younger me ….and now it is right back up there. What a lovely tool. So much crammed into it and covers so many bases for edc.

Great to see some of the ingenious ways in which the tools were put to use too. Great challenge.

Day 30

What a great challenge everyone.  Thanks to Enginears for hosting!

I was skeptical I’d get everything done this month with a SC.  I was able to get by primarily with the XLT.  I think it will be able to replace my Wave in the office, lab, and probably most at home tasks for now.
