Sorry if there's a thread already.
Theses are great and historical. I'll try to do pics later.

Still carry mine on occasion.
Folderbeholder was kind enough to send them my way a good few years ago and I'm still as thankful as the day I got them.

My old Granny had a Christy knife that she kept on her keychain. She told me about Mr. Christy and how he invented it. I thought at the time that she maybe knew him or something. I was carrying a Kutmaster jack knife at the time along with a lucky buckeye, a change purse, and a hanky in case I wound up with a bloody nose at school. I never saw another Christy before or after. Best wishes. G

I mentioned it in another thread somewhere else that these were quite popular at my first fire department, so, wanted to be on of the cool kids, I bought and carried one for about a year. While I can appreciate the utility I never found out why they were so popular - they just didn't do it for me. I attached my SAK Classic to the little ball chain and used it more than I ever did the Christy Knife. Mine has long been lost to history (or my ex-wife).

I have a very old one of these. I can recall seeing it in a desk drawer back in the 1950's, along with a ball park souvenir knife with a handle like a baseball bat (Probably Dodgers, but not sure), and it was old and worn then. Oddly, this one also never had a loop on the back. I always assumed it had just been pinned together, but now presume that the original wire bale type loop was broken off some time in the distant past. I'm guessing it's from the 1930's some time and probably something my dad had as a kid. I've never found it a terribly useful pocket knife because it tends to foul with pocket lint and the like, and then won't lock open. But despite age it's very sharp, and still occasionally gets used for one thing or another. I gather they have a life time warranty, so I suppose I could send it back, but I kind of like it in its worn, historical context.
