I hear you.
Last year it was March until my Angels were put away.

I was waiting till the AA BATTERIES gave out. They turned on at 5PM and off at 11PM every day from November till March

This year, I never deployed. Forgot

But, Holiday Catus bloomed from from Thanksgiving through New Years Day, now to pick the dead flowers.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 8

A useful function for my OHT, first time capturing in the act…

My OHT was handy, I needed it to hold a book open on a page for research consulting with a grandson as to what he picture outside his bedroom window.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

It did the task admirably!

What he pictured…

Hello Awl
I am a touch late with my day 7 pic due to minor technical difficulties.
The phone camera refused to work and in the end the service tech found out the memory of the app that runs the camera needed to have the memory cleared.
not sure what that means and it works but hey the camera is back in action and I do not have to waste money that could be used on MT purchases on a new phone.
After a few weeks of no office work the ink in the pens had dried so a cleaning of the pens was needed. The OHT helped to remove the nib for cleaning.

Hello to Day 8
I have a collection of reading glasses and I somehow manage to break the legs.  I then pirate the old ones to keep some pairs workable.
The OHT had to standby and watch  the leg swap as the screwdrivers in the OHT are a wee bit large for spectacle work.

Thanks Barry and McStitchy, never had a Nintendo Switch before.
I was always a Pacman, Galaga gamer where you literally stand at the machine inside a liquor store back in the 80s.  :salute:
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Times change so quickly as it pertains to electronics!  Those games were on the drawing board when in collage.   In fact what I studied in collage was no longer taught 10 years after I received my degree, and then what I taught in the 80s vaporized by 1995.
Still, the handheld controls and interconnects were part of the enterprise and the battery technology and inductive charging was developed  during my involvement with Palm.   All a small breath of time.

My grandkids have the Switch, and PS5s and I still can not master the finger  dexterity required to be successful.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

LC, I remember my old Palm Pilot loved it!  That and the Apple Newton, then the PocketPC, love all the electronic gadgets.

Day 8

Sorry for being quiet... work is kicking my butt.

I used my OHT to open a new experiment... I'm not a fan of the plastic scales on SAKs because they seem so cheap, so I decided to try some premium scales - micarta.  It didn't snap on as nice as the plastic ones, but I think it's pretty snug... and it looks and feels much nicer.   :tu:
