That is a solid EDC.  Well done.
Thanks. I think I have all my bases covered with it.

Latest EDC, forgot to include the damn wallet and pen again. This is why I hate take group shots like EDC or collection, always forget something.

Very nice set up.  :tu:

Is that one of the original square edge Zippos or a modern remake?

It's a modern one given to me by Gadget guy. Zippo up here is really expensive in smoke shops, easily 2x the price of u.s. or more. You'd think with the border only 30 minutes away it would be close in price.

There's your new job. :D
Just ignore the funny looks border guards give you when you come back across with several cases of zippos in the back. :tu:

Ha, I would if not for the expensive postal price here. To send an average weight package to some guy 20 minutes away would cost me $13ish, while another guy across the continent in u.s. can send me the same package for $3. Ever wonder you don't see Canadians in trade forum? This is why.

Damn... your postal system sounds to be a pain in the rear.
I love USPS! And it's retarded that companies don't take advantage of them. I was trying to get a $20 knife and the shipping was $11! In the US! That's ridonkulous! I shot them an email asking if they could use cheaper shipping (I.E. fscking $4.95 FLAT RATE USPS SHIPPING)... they refused.

Funny thing is, I bet that's how they send it, anyway... wrapped in newspaper. Expensive $6 newspaper.
Got those frog legs.

How do you carry the MT usually? Pocket/sheath/bag? I tried to carry one for sometime but it's just too heavy on person.

Small MTs I carry in a ipod sock under my wallet in my front jean pocket along with a flashlight.

Here's my edc for today. The only thing that gets rotated regularly is the knife. Forgot the wallet and crappy cell phone. And my watch. Boy I'm forgetful. Guess my wife is right  :)

The slabs are indeed purple FRN. Didn't think I would like a native but I'm loving this one.

Ohh you got a forum knife. I almost bought one but the $25 shipping + potential for tax/fee made it too steep for me.

Why sort of?
During the time when the forum knives went live I was out of the country and didn't have access to the internet for a bit. When I finally did I went right to the Spyderco forum and found I had missed the last forum knife by about 6 hours. Instead of crying like a baby like a couple of the people I took it in good stride and was happy for the people that got one. The next day I got a pm from a Spyderco employee asking if I still wanted one which of course I said I did. Now I say "sort of" because this was not part of the original 300 that were sold. I don't know how many more than 300 they made and I don't know why the Spyderco employee contacted me but I was fortunate enough to get one.

On a side note. I did have to pay $11.16 tax on top of the knife and shipping but for a limited edition forum knife with S30V steel I think it was well worth it. I never thought the ergo of the native would fit my hand well but it's turning out to be one of my favourite Spyderco's.
