Little late on posting this because my internet went out for maintenance last night.

Day 24

Got a new toy for the December utility blade challenge in the mail. The Signal did its usual duty of package-opener.

Much as I'd like to reply to everyone individually, I'm having trouble staying awake. (This schedule is really kicking my arse.) Y'awl sure are doing a great job, though! :tu:

Day 25

Just a little battery babysitting.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

I awlso tried out the carabiner bottle opener thing again. The combo tool feels more natural, but it's kinda nice to not have the cap go skittering across the countertop.

Day 25

A little impulse buy on the last day of the Insider sale.  I really like the Free K series knives, but I rarely carry them over smaller options.  I'm going to try carrying this guy for a month... too bad we don't have a knife-based multitool challenge.  Oh, and "yes" the Signal opened the box it came in  :tu:

(Image removed from quote.)

I carried a T4 for the Sak-A-Like Challenge. Don't see why a K-series wouldn't count too.

@Sos24: I bet Fisher would express his gratitude for the Signal if he could speak English.

@Juan el Boricua: are you making meatball subs there?

Day 26

A little bit of a different spin on Leatherman and coffee.

And with the "finished product." This mug may be going to work, so I don't burn through so many disposable cups.

Day 26

The green and black topo Signal accompanied me on all chores today. We shipped Dan’s B.O. ST300.  Then went to two different Lowe’s in search of Klien’s new 32651HDRT ratcheting stubby screwdriver. No dice and left empty handed. Then headed to the grocery store and am now home making dinner for the fam. This morning the wife and I did manage to get a walk around Phantom Lake. I would have taken a better pic, but she finds the whole knife and Leatherman thing “weird.”

Day 26 :
(I fell asleep before I could post the picture so technically we are the 27th early in the morning but the picture was actually taken on day 26)

The Signal blade does a decent job on cutting tasks once you get used to where the plain edge starts (like most partially serrated blades, except victorinox ones)

Day 26

Managed to break the tip off the Signal's blade trying to pry a broken IKEA eccentric cam connector out of a slot. Gotta say, not very impressed with a blade that loses a battle of durability to a piece of plastic.

I've seen far better blades having tip broken against plastic : plastic is very tough when prying, even worse with added torque.
A knife blade is meant for cutting, nothing else

Still sad it happened to you  :pok:

I really wish that LM would make an EDC tool with the Signal platform.  They could even get rid of the hammer and add some implements. I swear, it’s the best feeling in the hand LM that I have used.

Day 27

Blue assisted in the making of the slip case for the Spartan PS (Waiting for new scales, and scale tools; sadly, the only keyring found was of the regular ss type.). I hope I'll see in the near future a PS Climber or Fieldmaster!!!

Day 27

Finally found the receiver for our living room and went ahead wiring it into the built-in speaker system in the new house. The Signal was used to trim some speaker wire for the job.
