I have had a great time carrying the PST 1.5 and used it for many things this past month :salute: With the added clip and OHO blade I would say that it would stand up against most any MT out there :D even without those things the PST is a great tool and it is what started many of us (myself included) on this MT journey :tu:

I am a bit late to the Nov challenge party, but carry a ‘97 vintage PST pretty regularly.

Anyways, if you are like me finding a PST  replacement sheath is a bit of a challenge. Most current replacement options from Leatherman are designed to fit a couple models and since the PST is so slender, they tend to be a bit loose fitting.

I recently picked up a leather sheath on Etsy that is specifically made for the PST and thought to pass along the info. Not sure what the rules are on posting links like that, but just search in Etsy for “Dr. Grant PST sheath” and it pops up.

I dare say it, but it is probably better fitting than the original sheath and as nice or better leather. It is probably wet formed as it fits the PST like a glove, so it only fits the PST and not the PST II (upon further investigation the PSTII is the same dimensions so should fit too).

Why wouldn't it also fit PST II? Both have exactly the same handles.

I always thought the PST II was slightly thicker.  Upon further investigation I may be wrong on that, and they have the same external dimensions.  Should work fine then.

The sheath I got was snug on the PST when new so anything larger in dimensions would probably not fit.
