I was at one of the local Pawn Shops when I spied a bunch of coin cards that caught my interest. I do not collect coins or stamps actively anymore, but it would appear I am not above adding a few items that pick my interest.  I brought them  home and did a bit of research on these and it would appear I have but a small portion of what was produced. I saw someone selling 5 binders full somewhere online. Still happy with these though, and the price was very good. I do collect First Day Covers of Canada, and these having a postmark and a stamp was what really attracted me to them.

I also found it interesting that all the coins and stamps tend to be in the mid 1980s.

I can remember when various companies produced this type of set.  You'd buy a starter and they'd send you a new country every month.

That's a very cool collection you have there  I like collecting coins too and have a small collection with various nations. Anyway here are some Vietnamese coins that we stop using it around 2000s-early 2010s (top row), and the coins of under row were stop in production even earlier.
I believe we stop using coins because they got discolouration, rust, and also with inflation the coins no longer worth much.

Lately I'm trying to get some euro coins of various nations also. Even of same value they have different back sides depending on which country produced them. Probably will get this done in a long time

I saw that, but decided not to get it. My garden is too small, I can barely fit a province in, much less a country!

Those are awesome!
Every now and then I'll browse through my collection and see missing countries and then I go on a hunting expedition to plug the holes. But it's really fun.
