The man probably best known as the frontman of Iron Maiden during their early years has passed.

The band has been an establishment and a staple for me since my early teenage years. Well now I know what will be blaring on in the office tomorrow

I think the first Maiden album I owned (probably "borrowed" from my brother) was Maiden Japan.

As a lifelong Maiden fan I am super saddened to hear this.  Paul Di'anno may have had his problems but this is far too young to have lost such an icon.
