Thanks Vicman!  I never knew that.
DAY 5

The Bond is comparing tools with the Craftsman (made by Bear & Sons). :)

At first glance the Bear Jaws tool appears to simply be a copy of the Leatherman PST. But the Bear has one important advantage, that being it's outside opening blades. This blade arrangement is relatively common today, but it was revolutionary when first introduced back in 1996. So much so that Swiss Army Knife giant Victorinox reportedly bought Bear MGC in order to obtain the patent. The company is now back in the hands of an original owner, but the Vic SwissTool and Spirit owe their legacy to the Bear Jaws 155.

Frenchephaistos 5/30 : Helping the parents with some  housework…

… but didn't take the time to picture it. So here it is in its sheath. By the way, this is the first LM I've ever carried in a sheath. Not sure if I'll be doing that the whole month; as it's too visible at work, where I shouldn't really been carrying one, at least in the open. But I wanted to try it nonetheless for a length of time.

Day 5

Doing the most performed task of my multitool (blade) - opening the constantly arriving packages.  I'm still annoyed with how long it takes to get to the blade and then put it away.  Maybe I need to pair the Bond with a package opener.

Not much in the way of using the Bond today. Just did a dump run and some chores in the yard. The fastback kept the Bond company. It also pretty much sat on the sideline.
