Day 3: Lit a fire with the fire starter.  I took a video of me using the whistle but I couldn't get it to upload  :facepalm:   If the weather cooperates I'll get a fire going with just natural materials.

  Enjoying the Signal and Combo Edge posts.  I have been fiddling around with the serrated edge on my challenge carry.  I'm not sure if I am getting it sharper or not.  Hard to tell.  I have sort-of gotten the rough edges all pointing in the same direction, so that has to be better.  I hope the PA weather will be better this week and maybe you can figure out how to post a video.  Best wishes.  G

I joined you all today by carrying my Signal while I worked around the yard.  Mine is slightly modified, and I used it several times.


While changing security camera batteries...




Sharpening my pruner...




The lawnmower's oil cap was stuck...




Cutting poison for my bait station (I never use my multitools on food)...




Lots of uses when changing out a broken sprinkler.  I even used the awl to clean dried mud out of the threads of a used riser...




Rehanging a privacy trellis...

Outstanding Rich! I miss having a file.  I'm learning minimalist carry with the Signal again.  With the exception of the pliers, this tool set is similar to the Hiker/Trekker toolset.  For what it's designed for, that's spot on.

Day 5:  Testing the cutters and wire stripper. Cutters are the best in the business and the stripper gets the job done.  Not as good as dedicated wire strippers, but they get the job done.
