Have any of you tried the new flavours Walkers are releasing?  So far I have sampled the Onion Bhaji, which were great!  :tu:  And the Chilli and Chocolate.  That one wasn't as nice.  :D

Onion Bhaji's OK, Chilli and Chocolate is gash, Fish n Chips was Ok. Didn't think much of the Duck and Hoisin.  Will try Cajun Squirrel next time I think.

But I stil prefer Cheese and Onion.
I used to come here a lot.

Walkers is now owned by Pepsico and have systematically bought out the competition here in the UK over the last few years. They have something like 80% of the entire market over here now.

Horrible company to deal with too.
I used to come here a lot.

Hmm....

While Frito-Lays make some tasty chips (including Fritos  ) :gimme:, I prefer to buy the local chip manufacturer's fair.

Utz potato chips

Bistro blend is quite nice.

Old Bay on Chicken salad--simply awesome.

Maryland Crabs and beer, completely

Walkers is an old established brand in the UK - it's much older than the Pepsico involvement.

Those are some crazy flavours. I'd love to try them.  :D

I can't find a decent potato chip here. Most of them taste like compacted dust cakes covered with glass and tons of tongue-cutting artificial powders.

There are some premium chips that aren't quite as bad, but I find them very hard and less flavourful.

I seem to remember a time long ago when chips actually tasted like potatoes...  ???
