Yup, that's it- you guys are on the ground floor!
In the meantime, feel free to speculate wildly as we all love to do here!
Yay, I've been upgraded to the ground floor!! Every day carry. A series about Egyptian pyramid builders, brewery horses, sherpas of Mount Everest and military marches. Truly a wide concept! It will be interesting I'm sure.
I forgot this.... Def
I want my EDC-TV!
That ain't working. You play the guitar on the MTV. That's the way you do it.Money for nothing, and your chicks for free.
Best of luck in the new venture !
Sounds good! Hearing forward to it.
I promised a bit more information as we went, and so here it is.It's not The Def Show. That would be boring and painful to watch. So I have a couple of regular co-hosts, and I'm pretty sure that you will all be in awe of who they are, and then again when you hear these guys. These are some serious heavy hitters, and my job on the show is to get these two talking and then stand back!So who the heck are they? The name Abraham "Abe" Elias is one you should know if you have ever picked up any knife mags over the past two decades. I don't think there's a knife rag he hasn't gotten a byline in, and he was an assistant editor for Knives Illustrated for years. When it was sold he moved to a few different magazines before settling in with Blade Media, aka the company that bought Knifeforums, owns the BLADE Show and published BLADE magazine. Abe currently holds the title of Field Editor there. When he's not writing, he owns Diving Sparrow Knifeworks and makes bushcrafting knives, and has sold designs to companies like CRKT and Boker. And there's Inky, whom you may know from right here on the only forum that matters. Or you may know him from the gold old days on Knifeforums. Or the good old days on JerzeeDevils. Or many other forums. What you might not know is that Inky is also an extensive knife trader, buying, selling and trading knives constantly, and as such has more knowledge in his bloomers than most people will amass in their lifetime.I've known Abe about 25 years and Inky a few years longer than that, but prior to this project, they had never met each other, and let me tell you, putting these guys together is remarkably impressive. Even with my own 30ish years in the industry, listening to these guys really makes me the dumb guy in the room.Worse than that, they are both funny and humble, and an absolute pleasure to talk and listen to.I can't wait to hear everyone's feedback on this- but bear in mind, it's a work in progress initially. We are facing some audio challenges (which do get better!) and we are experimenting with formats, but I think you will see the substance more than makes up for it.We have just about two weeks left until the launch on November 1st, but it should be available on all your favorite podcast services like Apple, Spotify, Amazon and YT/Google. I will also post all of the download/streaming links right here on the forum because this is where it all starts.Def
The gang is always going to be a part of this. There will be lots of times when we look for people to be on air, to ask questions, point out our mistakes (there will be some, at least from my end of the table!) and keep us honest! The podcast only exists to enhance this forum, and the membership is our #1 priority- it always has been and always will be.In fact, the description I am using for the podcast is "The Podcast You Never Knew You Needed, from The Only Forum That Matters!"Most of the social media accounts are titled "EDC-TV by Multitool.org."The gang is the only reason this exists, and you are all already a part of it!Def
You're in Dire Straits? No wonder you recognized the lyrics. Is there even a MTV anymore? I lost track long ago.
