These past few weeks I moved from a single room apartment to a house of my own, with living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. I spent some time painting the walls white and laying a laminate floor. Fortunately my family was there to help me. I also spent some money on new furniture etc so now I have a nice place to live. Moreover it´s much closer to work.  So I´d say it´s going well enough. I´ve not had much time to post here.

other than Titanium Fast Hooks Carabiner Clip and Chain this Alox Farmer X has two secrets 8)

It’s been some time since I’ve bought a SAK. I got this from an online shopping platform with the seller located in Japan. It’s the same Farmer X in basic silver, but it comes with a piece of paper which translates the usual instructions into Japanese.

That's from a google search (with suspiciously missing Amazon links) and leading to the victorinox (DOT) com website.

Only option was to "Find Online Retailer" and that picture popped up.

It's an Alox Fidmaster or Huntsman in my book, and I love those two models because I like a scissors and a saw together.

I guess it's just Huntsman and Fieldmaster now.

I just checked my three go-to "general knife retailers:" Knife Center, Smoky Mountain Knife Works, and DLT Trading. All three have the standard silver Farmer X in stock. DLT Trading's price undercuts the other two by $5.

That's true enough. One is also able to add the Farmer X to one's cart on Victorinox's U.S. Web page. I highly doubt it's discontinued.

Ditto, that "world" version Victorinox website generally seems to think everything is unavailable. Never use it.
