OK that is cool.  8)  I do have a question to ask though. I was given a Sharpie at Christmas and I do find it handy but am I missing something?  As far as I can tell it's just a permanent marker with a fine-ish tip.  Nothing to extraordinary though.  Have I just come late to the party and missed the point?

I just think they are nice quality compared to other permanent markers. Good nibs, great range of colours, cap stays on.... I'm fairly easily pleased by efficient stationary products I guess!

I can get that, as I say I like my Sharpie.  I was just worried that I was the only one who didn't know about the secret compartment full of wonders.

LOL! Pretty much I feel the same way about Sharpies, just a decent quality permanent marker is all. Maybe that's the big secret, something that works, like a SAK.

Is it somehow refillable?  I go through a fair number of Sharpies and I'd hate to throw out a stainless body simply because it's empty or dried up...

Yep, refillable... that's also what I'm excited about, less plastic crap to throw away.

How can you beat that? $8 bucks plus $1.99 a refill and you never need to buy another sharpie again! I wonder if they'll make a "mini SS Sharpie"? That would be sweet!

I use 1 for marking and laying out walls on the concrete it is kinda rough on the pen but it leave a very good mark :tu:

Also when marking a brick or block to cut I try and use 1 as it doesn't blow away when it is getting sawed :tu:

Sounds like a china marker would work better for you.

Might try one of these. I get frustrated with pens that don't write properly.
