Interesting wire cutter

I was checking out Gerber's website and found this one:

It looks pretty cool, but I am concerned about that many dollar signs.  Anyone try one of these?

according moteng.com is the mrsp $128 and with sheath $160...will thake an closer look at the iwa on it.

"Compound leverage", eh? Where have I heard that before?     Anyway, no thank you. I wouldn't spend that much on a wire cutter when my old Kleins are doing just fine.

It is not a wire cutter like the MP600 Cable Cutter or the SOG Powercut this cutter was apparently designed for the military to cut concertina wire (coiled razor wire opposing armies like to litter the battle field with), it has a cutter on either side of the head so you can attack the stuff either on an up cut or a down cut without having to turn over and maybe getting yourself shot.
Could be of use to farmers, but I believe a normal fencing tool would be more practical and cheaper.

Just guessing but as they only have these on the 'Government Sales' section. I think the price and having to buy the pouch separate suggests these tools are just going to be limited runs and may be made of US steel.
I know if I was being sent to Iraq or Afghanistan I would not mind having a pair of them with me.

I could also afford it if I was a soldier, especially if I was about to recieve a buttload of combat pay!
