Funny thing is I hate the name Micky (no offence to all you Micky's) but Micky D was my favourite motorcycle racer :)

I used to live right by the North West 200 road race circuit. We'd sneak into the pits on race days and chat to Joey Dunlop (local hero) and others such as Steve Parrish. Those road racers had balls of titanium  :o  In the old days you could get very, very close to the action. The lamp posts had straw bales tied to them as if that would protect you at a closing speed of 170mph  ::)

Your a very lucky man :)

Both of those are real hero's of mine, I love the stories of what Parrish and Sheene used to get up to on and off circuit :D, And what can you say about Mr Dunlop :o, that guy reall was a legend in his own life time :), how the hell you can hussel a relatively heavy superbike around those tight roads like he did i'll never know :salute:

I was genuinely sad the day he died ay Brno :cry:

Rest in peace Ye Maun :salute:
