Straight or serrated ?  154CM or S30V can be quite hard to sharpen as its so hard .

I used my Gerber Octane clamshell package opener blade to open up a new Gerber Grappler package.  It worked great, much better than a knife blade tip.  I was able to open the Grappler clamshell with no damage to the cardboard inside.  Most of the time they get sliced up badly in my case.

Then when I got home, I used the Grappler to squeeze a bottle cap down to the size of a dime. Just testing it out, you know.

I used a Suspension to open a clamshell containing a new Octane. :)

And now you have a clamshell opener.

Yup, used it today to open a Grappler clamshell.

So, aside from bottle caps, what do you think of it?  Should I replace my Crunch?

I used a Spirit to loosen some cable fittings, and the SAK Explorer to open some shipping containers. :salute:

I used my wave and piranha to adjust the tilt on a LCD TV hanging in my dad's room at the hospital. It really needed a hex bit and a wrench but I had to improvise seeing I didn't have my LM bit kit on me.

Used the prybar/screwdriver/bottle opener on the Spirit as an ice pick to chip the couple inches if ice out of my trunk. Used the PE blade to cut the carpet out. Leaking trunks suck lol.

More of the same project, Spirit got a lot of use. After pulling the car's spoiler off I used the chisel/scraper to remove the old crap that was failing to seal around the spoiler. Used the awl to drill a small hole in the bottom of the spoiler to drain the half gallon of water out of it. Apparently Canadiens fail at making spoilers lol  :pok:

It's a spoiler not a fin, eh?  Silly Canadians and their hockey skillz.     LOL, I love our northerly neighbors, and all the ones I work with give me hell all the time.  Great folks!

I used my Squirt P4's pliers to extricate a MicroSD to SD card adapter from my printer; apparently the card has to be pushed in almost entirely in order to be read or written to, at which time there is so little actual material left outside of the card reader portion of my printer as to make it impossible to remove using my fingers, so P4 to the rescue... plus, it allows me to use very gentle force much easier than what I think my Spirit X would allow. ^^

But yeah, why the crap would the printer's scanner only allow scanned images to be copied onto a media card or to be printed... yet doesn't have the option to send the file to the computer with which it is currently connected?  HP, you've done it again.  :twak:  Plus, after looking at a drawing of my apartment next year, I may end up having to get an even smaller printer - there's simply no room in my bedroom for a printer of this size, which is saying something, because my current printer is roughly two-thirds(!) the size of my previous printer. @_@

The little quatro-screwdriver from the SwissCard came out to tighten some screws on the front door today.

That's the only tool action I've had for quite some time.

It's actually a pretty decent driver... :D

Today my New Soldier sliced through a nice package from Zack, while my Spirit X's small, long slotted screwdriver came in handy for removing the battery compartment's screw on one of my niece's toys, which she seemed to like even more - as did her parents and grandparents - because it made the toy almost brand new again in terms of catching her attention.  While my Rambler's screwdriver could've handled it, the other few contents on my keychain prevented it from being the most useful. :/

My pioneer's awl drilled some starter holes for our new curtain rods, and then my spirit's phillips tightened the set screws.

Both tools get a 10 for the job.

Beat up on the SURGE today, used it to hammer in some wooden pegs, cut open boxes, pilot a bunch of holes to be drilled, and cut up some overhanging branches on my friends property. Worked like a... tank  :D

I used the knifeless Fuse to pull, yank and pry open a student’s damaged locker that was kicked in by another student the day before.
A little Leatherman information.

I thought about posting in the thread today. Then I realized that I've used both my Spirit and CT34 for so much crap the last 24 hours or so that I can't even remember half of it to list. Suffice to say that my Vic dual wield EDC has been invaluable and made life about 10000x easier than it would have been without.

I used my spirit for the same thing as yesterday, hanging curtain rods.  I love this tool, I can't wait to get my cybertool back!
