Wenger Ranger Waiting Room
on:
July 20, 2007, 10:22:55 AM
There was a waiting room for the CRKT multi-tools so I thought maybe we should add one for the new Rangers.
Is anyone else waiting for the new Wenger Rangers? Which one(s) are on your shopping list? I've got my eye on the Ranger 75. I've heard they will start shipping at the end of August. Maybe we could felinevet give us daily updates?!
Here she is... Miss Wenger North America...

Yep, I'm waiting on the 75 as well
Anyone have a pre-order in?

I bought a 172 (with the scissors instead of the pliers) from Tim recently. It is very well built as you would expect. I'll write up a review on it soon.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the line being available. The 75 was my favorite, until I saw the Alinghi model with the one-hand opening blade!

Yeah, I'm looking at one of these NewRangers too but can't make up my mind which one I want. Either the 75 or maybe the Alinghi. Maybe the latter for uniqueness?

Someone is selling Alinghi's on eBay for $116.00. (I wonder whether they actually have any in stock yet.)
I think I'll wait for Felinevet to get his, then buy from him. I know he also has 75's on order.

HA! Yeah, I saw that too. I'm tracking it in My Ebay. I didn't realize they weren't in stock yet. I was just trying to get a handle on street price. Hard to beat Tim's prices anyway.

Yup, especially since I forced him at gunpoint to become an authorized Wenger dealer!

So I have you to thank (blame) for my recent foray into Wenger knives! Yet another happy forumite (victim) who purchased more tools. Lots of new toys from Wenger. Victorinox better get some new stuff soon to keep the rescue tool company.

I am to blame for many things- I'm used to it. Perhaps I should provide a photo of myself suitable for members to print and pin to a dart board?
